Please note Ms Spraget will be on maternity leave for most of the next academic year and Mr Riddick is presently working with Class 3.
School Meals
The cost of school meals will rise from £1.75 per day to £2.00 per day from September 1st. Waltham Forest Catering actually increased the cost to the school last September and unfortunately we need to pass on the cost to parents in the new academic year. We still believe it is a very good price, particularly as the quality of meals has improved markedly.
Learning Support Assistants Vacancies
We will be internally advertising for a number of Learning Support Assistant posts after the half term. These posts will also be placed on notice boards for parents. Please feel free to apply, if you have the appropriate experience and qualification, when details are posted up.
Sports Days
The field is still in a poor state after the work of last year and it will not be possible to have a normal sports day on it again this year. The contractor and its subcontractor are in dispute as regards fault and money is being held back by the council. Work to rectify the poor condition should have been completed by early spring and the next opportunity will be autumn. We will have total control of the situation from October and we will ensure the works to restore it are completed.
Reports and Open Evening
Reports will be sent out Friday 6th July and you will have the opportunity to discuss your child’s report on Thursday 12th July at Open Evening.
Reminder: School closes for half-term this Friday and will reopen Monday June 11th June.
