Welcome to Yardley Primary School.

 

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community.

 

We are proud to consider ourselves a community school.  The grounds are kept open after the school day finishes so that children have a safe and spacious place to play (under parental supervision).  We have links with  local community groups and our assemblies and curriculum reflects and celebrates the wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds of our pupils.

 

Several of our staff were pupils at the school, trained with us and now work here, others were parents of pupils at the school before joining the team. Many staff members send their own children to Yardley which furthers the community bonds between staff and the parent cohort.
